At Handyy, we recently completed a coloured glass splashback installation in a modern kitchen in Chippenham, Wiltshire. Our client was looking for a high-quality, stylish solution that would be easy to clean and complement their kitchen’s aesthetic. After discussing a range of kitchen splashback colours, they chose a made-to-measure kitchen splashback in RAL 7008 Khaki Grey – a unique and earthy tone from the RAL Classic Colour Chart. This khaki grey splashback worked beautifully with their existing grey kitchen cabinets, adding a touch of warmth and depth to the space.

Glass Manufacturing & Colour Matching – The glass was cut to size and toughened for durability. The RAL 7008 Khaki Grey colour was precisely applied to achieve a high-quality finish. Glass used is 6mm Toughened low iron Glass
Installation – The installation took approximately four hours, including carefully securing the glass in place and sealing all joins, corners, and edges with clear moisture and mold-resistant silicone for a professional, long-lasting finish.
We also used extended (50mm) screws for all electrical sockets.
