Our Client was in need of better mobility help from the house to the drive so she was able to feel more confident when walking down the slope of the drive. Currently there was a small handrail just outside the porch but this was not adequate nor safe due to just the single slab outside the front door
The problem stemmed from the inadequacy of the existing setup to accommodate multiple users simultaneously, such as emergency personnel or a family member accompanying the client.
The presence of only a single step posed challenges for the client’s mobility. Furthermore, the handrail was somewhat diminutive and lacked robustness, which caused concern for both the client and their immediate family members when using it.
The installation of the handrail took just the day, the larger step took a morning to complete. We were challenged with shorter days so potentially this could of been done within 1 day.
